The White Lotus
Series 2
The multi-Emmy® Award-winning anthology series returns, this time set at an exclusive Thai resort. As always, the biting social satire follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week, portrayed by an all-star cast.
This season’s guest list includes Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon and Leslie Bibb as three long-time friends on a girls’ trip, Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood as a rugged man with a chip on his shoulder travelling with his free-spirited girlfriend, Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey as a wealthy couple vacationing with their three children, and sole returning cast member Natasha Rothwell as Belinda, the spa manager from The White Lotus’ Hawaii location.
Boyzone: No Matter What
For the first time in 30 years, band members Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Michael Graham grant rare and exclusive interview access for this three-part Sky documentary series Boyzone: No Matter What.
Revealing their personal experiences in a band that sold over 25 million records worldwide, the boys also talk candidly about how they grappled with the true cost of global fame. And to try and help close a chapter in their lives, they confront the strained relationships and tragic events that have had a lasting impact on all their lives, families and friendships.
Rob Beckett's Smart TV
Series 2
Following a successful first series, Rob Beckett’s Smart TV is back with more ferocious quizzing all about the magic of television. Each week, host Rob and team captains Alison Hammond and Josh Widdicombe will be joined by actors, comics, presenters and personalities, competing across a series of funny and chaotic rounds to see who knows the most about TV.
Amongst the many famous faces testing their knowledge of all things telly will be Richard Osman, Danny Dyer, Richard Ayoade, Oti Mabuse, Giles Brandreth, Sope Dirisu, Chris McCausland, Kerry Godliman, Carol Vorderman, Kola Bokinni, Tom Allen and Steve Pemberton.
Small Town, Big Story
A warm, witty, and very dramatic comedy, created and directed by Chris O’Dowd.
The six-part series is set in the fictional town of Drumbán, a rural town of rattled locals on the border of Ireland and another world, and what happens when a Hollywood TV production rolls into town, throwing a spotlight on a secret that’s been kept hidden since the eve of the Millennium.
Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) stars as Wendy Patterson, a local girl done good in Los Angeles as a hot-shot television producer, who returns to her hometown with an epic new production called ‘I am Celt’, while Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon) stars as Drumbán’s local doctor and pillar of the community Seamus Proctor.
As the celluloid circus descends on the town, the pair’s paths cross once again and their buried history threatens to upset the equilibrium of the quaint – though often bizarre - town and the people within, unearthing a big secret between them.
David Frost Vs
Part 1
David Frost Vs charts almost half a century of dizzying social, political, and cultural change through the eyes of the one man who had a front-row seat to it all: Sir David Frost.
Made in collaboration with Frost’s son, Wilfred, each episode is built on over 50 years’ worth of rare or never-before-seen archive footage, supplemented by interviews with an extraordinary list of contributors who help uncover Frost’s incredible life and career as one of the nation’s most renowned news anchors.
Fire Country
Series 3
Max Thieriot stars as Bode Leone, a young convict seeking a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region. Now in its third season, Bode walks as a free man as he continues his journey toward redemption in his small hometown with Cal Fire.
