STATH LETS FLATS FUTURE IN DOUBT AFTER CREATOR 'PAUSES' SERIES
The comedy series followed ‘Stath’ - an incompetent Greek-Cypriot lettings agent, working in the family business, Michael & Eagle Lettings in North London.
The series starred Jamie Demetriou, Natasia Demetriou, Al Roberts, Christos Stergioglou, Katy Wix, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, and Ellie White.
Creator and star of the series, Jamie Demetriou has casted doubt over whether there will be a fourth series - saying he's taking a 'pause' - but doesn't rule out a return in the future.
Speaking to RadioTimes The Big RT Interview, Jamie Demetriou said: "I really want to let things breathe and work out as and when things feel like they're right to do and if inspiration strikes or if it doesn't...
"You know, I've been working on Stath for a decade. I think it's good for me to at the very least pause. I don't know about putting a full stop but there's definitely going o be a comma. It just depends how big that comma is, you know."
Stath Lets Flats took home three awards at the 2019 BAFTA ceremony: Best Male Actor in a comedy, Best Writer of a Comedy and the programme itself won the award for Best Scripted Comedy.
Stath was originally developed from Channel 4’s Blaps, the online comedy showcase that uncovers the brightest new comedy stars and freshest TV ideas.
Previous episodes of Stath Lets Flats are available to stream on All4.
