PREVIEW: The Answer Trap, Channel 4

Anita Rani hosts a brand-new quiz show, in which teams compete to sort a series of answers into the correct categories to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize.

But there's a twist: hiding in each list of answers are wickedly deceptive and entirely plausible 'Answer Traps', devised by resident quiz experts Frank Paul and Bobby Seagull to catch out the contestants.

Week One

Monday: siblings Dave and Louise from West Yorkshire take on engaged couple John and Gary from Glasgow, with both teams hoping to steer clear of the traps and play for £10,000 in the final round.

Tuesday: engaged couple Martyn and Sophia from Cirencester take on married couple Lorna and Anthony from Hamilton, with both teams hoping to steer clear of the traps and play for £10,000 in the final round.

Wednesday: sisters Hinisha and Darshika from Leicester and Letchworth take on engaged couple Paul and Lucinda from Burnley, with both teams hoping to steer clear of the traps and play for £10,000 in the final round.

Thursday: Pembrokeshire couple Nikola and Lee take on siblings Kelly and Matt from Ipswich, with both teams hoping to steer clear of the traps and play for £10,000 in the final round.

Friday: housemates Ally and Grace from the New Forest take on couple Kieran and Bel from Bath, with both teams hoping to steer clear of the traps and play for £10,000 in the final round.

The Answer Trap begins Monday 10th April at 3pm on Channel 4.
