THE ART GAME: NEW ARTS SERIES SET FOR BBC

The BBC have reportedly commissioned new arts series The Art Game (6x60'). The news was first reported by The Sun.

Each episode will see ordinary Brits from across the country seek out and buy pieces of art they hope will earn them a profit.

A source told The Sun: ""Bargain Hunt averages around two million viewers a day so it’s little surprise that twists on the format are always being considered by commissioners... From Monet to Banksy, and everything in between, it has a more cultured edge to it than Bargain Hunt’s trawl for antiques but is just as exciting, if not more, as larger stakes are involved."

The Art Game is expected to air in 2025.
