THE REPAIR SHOP RETURNS WITH CHRISTMAS SPECIAL ON BBC ONE
It’s festive season at The Repair Shop and this year the team of experts are back, spreading joy and creating more Christmas magic. Through the barn doors this year are two giant Puffins gifted to a very special children’s bookshop.
These Puffins have welcomed generations of children and have been at the centre of the Christmas celebrations for over 50 years. Dominic Chinea and Brenton West have been tasked with returning these beloved birds back to the bookshop in time for Christmas, so they can continue to bring festive joy.
Will Kirk, Kirsten Ramsey and Mark Stuckey are facing their own festive challenge of reviving an enchanting miniature Christmas Village that lights up a family home where over 30 foster children have been looked after.
Meanwhile, clever with leather Suzie Fletcher is restoring a donkey saddle that’s been handed down through four generations of farmers. This saddle has been used by its owner since he was seven to ride his donkey into town, continuing the family tradition of delivering presents and spreading happiness to the local community in Northern Ireland.
Finally, a magic lantern projector that’s over 100 years old and has been at the centre of a family’s Christmas Eve tradition. The three sisters are hoping electrical whizz Mark Stuckey can restore the projector and with it the childhood wonder and memories it holds.
The Repair Shop Christmas Special airs this Christmas on BBC One.
