TIME IS MONEY: SARA DAVIES TO HOST NEW ITV FAST-PACED DAYTIME QUIZ
Dragons' Den star Sara Davies has been announced as host of new ITV daytime quiz Time Is Money, a show TV Zone exclusively revealed had been commissioned by the broadcaster.

Davies will host the daytime new and exciting fast-paced high-octane format which tests knowledge and nerves of the confident and quick thinking contestants. If the strategic personalities can handle the pressure against the clock they could be in with a chance of taking home a huge cash prize.
In the show, which will air on ITV1 and ITVX, players are given their prize money before they've answered a single question... the only catch is, they will need to answer correctly and race against the clock to keep hold of it.
Sara said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be hosting Time Is Money. This show is unlike anything you have seen before – it’s full-on, it’s exhilarating and the pressure is real. It’s going to be a rollercoaster of excitement and tension, and I can’t wait to see who’ll keep their cool under pressure. Get ready for a make-or- break adventure, because time really is money."
Katie Rawcliffe, Head Of Entertainment at ITV, added: "It’s been fantastic to see our afternoon game shows continue to thrive this year with The Chase, Deal or No Deal, Lingo and Tipping Point all delivering strong ratings and growing audiences...
"These shows have become a staple for daytime TV and we’re thrilled to add Time Is Money to the mix. With its unique blend of fast-paced quiz action and high-stakes drama, Time Is Money will perfectly complement our existing lineup, as will Sara Davies as host."
Meanwhile, daytime formats Jeopardy and Riddiculous will return to ITV1 soon for its second and third series respectively. Jeopardy is hosted by Stephen Fry and sees contestants play to win, using their best general knowledge to win rounds and always delivering the answer as a question. They may continue to amass winnings, the longer they stay in the game.Â
The third series of Riddiculous will feature 25 x 60’ episodes. Each episode of the daytime show features three teams of two, who go head-to-head in a series of quick-fire general knowledge questions in order to unlock a riddle. The more questions and riddles they get correct, the more money they can bank.
After three rounds, one pair will make it through to face the iconic endgame: Henry’s Riddle Run. Here, against the clock, they must solve a series of unique fast-pace riddles. They then have to decide whether to gamble on a ‘double or nothing’ final riddle. It’s rapid, it’s ruthless and it’s totally Riddiculous!
