WINNING COMBINATION SHELVED BY ITV WITH NO PLANS FOR FUTURE SERIES

Winning Combination will not return for a third series this year, with ITV shelving the format and telling TV Zone it has no plans for future series.

ITV has aired two series of the daytime quiz, which is hosted by comedian Omid Djalili. The format was recommissioned for a second series in December 2020 after averaging 1.3m viewers in the weekday 3pm slot.

In Winning Combination, nine contestants are given a number from 1-9. Across four rounds, they answer questions to be one of four players in the end game.

Qualifying players take their numbers through to the end game and choose where to place themselves in order to create the final 4-digit combination.

This number represents the prize pot they are playing for, but also how hard they have to work to get it! The bigger the jackpot, the harder it is to be a Winning Combination.

Previous episodes of Winning Combination are available to stream on ITV Hub. Winning Combination is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.
