YOU BET: HOLLY WILLOUGHBY STEPS DOWN AS CO-PRESENTER OF ITV SERIES

As revealed by TV Zone last December, ITV have confirmed that You Bet! will be returning for more episodes later this year following the success of the relaunch last year.

However, the new series which is currently casting and will film this Summer, will not be hosted by Holly Willoughby, and instead Stephen Mulhern will present solo, TV Zone understands.

An ITV spokesperson told TV Zone: "Unfortunately Holly couldn't commit to the dates to host the new series of You Bet!, but will hopefully appear as a guest panellist on one of the shows in the new series."

Last year's reboot became ITV’s biggest Entertainment launch for younger viewers for over two years, consolidating to 3.2m, rising to 4.1m including repeats. This is ITV's biggest entertainment launch for 16-34s since The 1% Club launched in April 2022. Including repeats You Bet! has been watched by half a million (463,000) 16-34s.

Crammed full of epic challenges, mind-blowing feats, big name celebrities and nail-biting suspense, You Bet! is back with a fresh new update. Members of the public will use their unique abilities to pull off the most outrageous challenges imaginable, all for the chance of winning a big cash prize.

Each episode sees a panel of celebrities and the studio audience predict if each challenger can complete the extraordinary challenge with which they are faced. Guess correctly and points are added to the celebrities’ score, based on the percentage of studio audience who voted the same way.

At the end of the show, the studio audience vote for their favourite challenger who takes home a whopping £10,000. At the same time, the celebrity with the highest score wins £10,000 for their chosen charity, while the celebrity with the lowest score takes on the entertaining final forfeit.
